The Defender™ is designed to covertly protect your staff from shots up to and including 7.62mm rifle rounds from an AK47, AR15, and .308.  Concealed inside without detection is three sided Certified NIJ Level III ballistic resisting materials.

The Defender™ features a large laminate work surface, your choice of solid hardwood (Oak, Cherry, Walnut or Mahogany), a locking drawer, locking doors, an adjustable shelf, four heavy duty casters (2 locking), and grommets throughout for cable management.

Ballistic material is not detectable within this work station.

We designed this for police in hospitals and federal buildings who are susceptible to a general public that have not been security screened. The officer is able to utilize this unit as a safety zone without anyone realizing the true ballistic capability of this unit. The heavy duty casters allow the officer to maneuver the podium towards or away from a threat during an active shooter event. The podium can even be used to assist the officer in a man down rescue operation if required.

Our superior design eliminates potentially vulnerable seams often left in the corners by the competition. The design of Executive Wood Products offers true three sided ballistic protection with no vulnerable seams. We also include a design feature, encapsulation technology, that will reduce the risk of spalling. When a projectile impacts the NIJ Level III ballistic material, all fragmentation is contained within which will eliminate further damage from the projectile.
