The Defender Anti-Ballistic Workstation offers professional-grade protection without sacrificing appearance or functionality. Designed for federal buildings, courthouses, and hospital security zones, this anti-ballistic workstation shields personnel from high-caliber threats—including 7.62mm rounds fired from AK-47s, AR-15s, and .308 rifles.
While traditional desks offer no defense, the Defender™ includes NIJ Level III ballistic steel panels discreetly built into three sides. These panels remain hidden from view but deliver powerful protection. Additionally, Encapsulation Technology™ traps incoming projectiles to prevent ricochet and spalling, helping keep the surrounding area safer.
To eliminate weak points, our engineers integrated Threat Elimination Technology™, which removes vulnerable seams at the joints and corners. As a result, the Defender™ provides uninterrupted coverage and greater confidence in active situations.
We build each workstation in Missouri using premium materials and hand-assembled techniques. The Defender™ also includes a spacious laminate top, integrated grommets for cables, and hidden magnets for self-centering logos or seal plaques. Thanks to four heavy-duty casters (two of which lock), staff can move the unit easily when responding to a threat. Moreover, our Easy Glide™ base trim allows the unit to roll smoothly over thresholds with 2.75″ of clearance.
